My name is Jerome Carpenter. By day I’m a scientist that studies mucus: my goal is to understand how mucus works when we’re healthy, how it changes when we’re sick, and how to fix it when it’s broken. By night i’m a freelance photographer. Most of my work is collegiate sports photography, but I also shoot a variety of other things.
I’m not exactly sure what I’m going to do with this web site. I might talk about science or show off some photos. Maybe I’ll nerd out about my favorite tv show, or post interesting things that I come across on the net. Most likely, I’ll forget about this site for months at a time, and every other post will be an apology for not updating in the last 4 months. Whatever this site becomes, however, the views and opinions expressed here are my own and don’t reflect the views of my employers.
